Coke is the Microsoft of the softdrink industry!

They tried to wipe Pepsi out by making Coke more Pepsi-like with their New Coke because they knew pepsi actually has a better taste.

Therefore I'm surprised more mac users don't like pepsi.

But for you masochists out there, Coke does hurt more going down! <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" /> </strong><hr></blockquote>

Yeah, but Pepsi has Britney Spears whoring it out; and that is most definitely not a good thing?.

pepsi is sweeter than coke. that's why pepsi always wins in taste tests, and always will.

in a taste test, people will always focus on the food's main attribute. in this case sweetnes. whichever is the most of the main attribute wins.

this is because they are so similar that people can hardly tell them apart, and they have to key in on something.

so the saltier of two foods will always win in a salty food taste test etc.

that's why coke came out w/new coke. it even beat reg. coke in all of their internal taste tests, since it was sweeter.

common marketing propaganda. (pepsi wins in taste tests!!!)

I don't understand how people couldn't tell them apart in a taste test. They are easily definable to me.

Britney Spears and Taco Bell are the good things that Pepsi has. I love Taco Bell but it sucks they only offer Pepsi products. Burger King on the other hand.

Oh, and for anyone who drinks that $2 bottled water crap, Evian spelled backwards is NAIVE ! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

Coca-Cola is just so wholesome too. The polar bears ad is just too cute.

You cannot directly comapare Coke to Pepsi, did you now know that the sugar in pepsi gives more stimulus per mouthful even though Coke has a larger sugar content. Then there is the delivery method. Coke cans have a smaller opening then Pepsi, so even though they both have an equal theoretical output, Pepsi does not have such a bottleneck meaning that you can get more Pepsi into your gob per second than coke. <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

Well, it sounds like it's decided then.

The final response to the question this thread has put before us is as follows:

    Coke or Pepsi?

    Pepsi.

Everyone who disagrees is now officially wrong.

I drink PERRIER! its fizzy, tasty, and it won't destroy my teeth

but when I DO drink soda, Its usually Soem form of root beer(love root beer) Or whatever the fast food joint has(be it pepsi or coke) pepsi is sweeter defiantly. and therefore I kind of prefer it, since I love sweet foods....but coke is more nostalgic, so I kind of prefer that...oh well...It can never erally be determine which one is better, its all preference anyway.

Best Cola: Coca-Cola in a 25 cl. glass bottle. Beats plastic AND can. I think it has something to do with the smoothness of the inner side of the bottle that doesn´t release the bubbles prematurely (hey on second thought that sounds dirty).

But this is based on old info. I worked for the Coca-Cola company one summer four years ago and drank at least two liters everyday and got hooked on it. Since then I have stayed away from that coffein infected stuff. Now I only drink juice and clear fluids like water, white wine, gin and vodka.

    RC is good.

Coke is more likely to kick your ass with the carbonation. You get that stuff really really really cold in a can and BAM.

    Nice.
