Pray for Mickey Rehring.
Please put all of your opinions of me down and say a little prayer for Michael "Mickey" Rehring.
He came down with insulin dependant diabetes! he is my friend and teammate. He is a Division 1 football prospect, this could ruin him.
I feel so bad for him. I wouldnt want to have to stick a life saving needle into myself 3 times a day, everyday.
My dad is an unsulin dependant diabetic too, he got it when he was 28 though. My dad is setting up a meeting with Mickey and a Penn State football player who has diabetes but starts as an offensive lineman. Maybe Mickey will be encouraged by the fact that people do go on as normal with this disease. Its also good that he never knew my dad was a diabetic, someone he percieves as normal has his infliction.
Please just pray for him to cope with this new hurdle that he will have to jump everyday for the rest of his life.

I'm not taking any sides but I was talking to him on AIM when he found out, so it was after all those things.
he hates macintosh, yet he reads all his posts...and answers most of them....oh well, these boards can make strange bedfellows and allow people to act in ways they never would in person....
