I damn near walked out of "The Phantom Menace" on opening night because I was so pissed off and in shock at how bad it was sucking. Everytime The Brat had a scene, I just sunk lower in my chair and tried to think about Carrie Fisher, Boba Fett and Imperial Walkers.

Here's the review from TVGuide.com: "John Eastland (Robert Ginty) is a demented Vietnam veteran who arranges gruesome deaths for street criminals; James Dalton (Christopher George) is the cop out to catch him. One of the most wretched of all film genres is the vigilante justice movie, and this must-to-avoid DEATH WISH takeoff is one of the worst of its ilk".
I stayed away from Exterminator II four years later. Here's the dope on that:"A very bad sequel to the equally bad THE EXTERMINATOR (1980) sees Ginty return as the ultraviolent Vietnam veteran who has gotten fed up with the sickos in society. The "plot" sees a gang leader with delusions of grandeur, "X" (Van Peebles), leading his sadistic followers through the streets of New York City torturing and murdering anything in their path. This is a totally repugnant film that parades acts of mindless violence on top of more mindless violence to illustrate some sort of moral dilemma of our time. "house on haunted Hill" OH MY GOD, same deal... that was the funniest movie only because of how bad it was... amazing... it was like thats what the director's goal was--made people laugh because of how predictable it was!! I would have walked out if I took it seriously also, but I couldnt, it was too damn funny

I saw that in the theatre and while it was nauseatingly predictable, the one thing that kept me watching were the amazing sets! Jan de Bont or however you spell his name had some damn cool sets on that movie. But yeah, everthing else (IE: Acting, plot, story pace etc.) SUCKED!
