Please, stop doing this. You guys have a habit of making the days up to these things last so long I end up not caring about the actual event. We could have left it until Sunday at least to start this. Damn you all!
You'll end up not caring about the event. Yeahhhhhhhhhh righttttttttt!
I got a feeling that the iSlate/pad/mac touch will be a lot more powerful and full featured than the rumors are saying. It will also replace the macbook air in apple's line up!
Now give me my meds and put me back in my padded room til Weds...

If that does happen then I'll have to get me a MacBook Air.
These publishers 9to5Mac talked to didn't actually see any prototypes, but it was described to them as a 10-inch glass screen that's smaller than a Kindle DX, but "with a similar weight." That the software is going to be the "game changer" is nothing new, but Apple's supposedly going around describing the tablet in comparison to the Kindle as the change from black and white TVs to color.
When I saw the invitation I was the only one to spot that. Come on guys, at least bring something to the table!

Yeah, lots wrong with that. Badly paced, badly edited, has ports on the back of the thing (guess you won't be using it flat on a table with anything connected) and Apple would never use a phrase like "After 10 years in development" in an ad.

Believe it or not, I look forward to Temp Insanity now more than the actual events.
It used to be quite wild and fun. The chat room, too.

It used to be quite wild and fun? It's only going to intensify over the next couple of days!

Temporary Insanity lasts longer
"Insanity now... insanity now..."

We used to have an entire forum for it. Absolutely wild.
2 days, 10 hour 24 minutes, and some seconds to go. Going to buy extra coffee beans now... (dang thing starts at 2:00 am for me)... and popcorn.

2 days, 4 hours, 30 minutes, and some seconds
I saw an opportunity for an idea I like to call: "brief spurts of typing-mode!"
Dang thing starts at 3:00am for me. This is not good for work. Better take the day off...
48 hours 55 minutes to go
Aaaaaaaaaand... how many minutes now?
BTW, why has no one created a "Temporary Insanity" countdown clock app? It would fly off the shelves!

That's why I put it here in the Insanity part... It was an interesting effort, and I'm sure there will be another two or three in the next day or two.
Apple would have the ink actually running..........
