3.36M Macs sold (33% increase over year-ago quarter)

21M iPods sold (8% decline over year-ago quarter)
"The new products we are planning to release this year are very strong, starting this week with a major new product that we're really excited about." Steve Jobs
"Looking ahead to the second fiscal quarter of 2010, we expect revenue in the range of about $11.0 billion to $11.4 billion and we expect diluted earnings per share in the range of about $2.06 to $2.18." Peter Oppenheimer, Apple's CFO
AAPL is trading down in the after-market as of 4:27pm ...
I guess the market did not like the conservative projections for second fiscal quarter of 2010. Does this mean that the tablet won't be shipping until late spring?
No need to get angry. In some ways that is even more impressive than the other sales considering how phones are increasing in their PMP duties with the iPhone way out in front cannibalizing the iPod.
PS: What?s with so many users going spastic on the emoticons?
Damn that is a huge increase in Mac sales. I predicted 25% which is well over the original street estimates.
Frak me that is a hell of a lot of Macs sold, in a relatively DOWN and TERRIBLE economy, one of the worst economic conditions of any holiday season in a long time.
And that is a hell of a lot of iPhones sold.
Now with Tablet to be the icing on the cake, damn, shove your face in the cake, peoples!

I'd be interested in seeing the updated iPhone market share numbers.
I predict no. 2 in the US just behind RIM, in terms of smartphones. Followed by Motorola Droid and Android-based phones.
Hmm... The results are out already, let me go digest it all.
