Since I don't like my news filtered through billionaire Americans (Damn you Ted Turner and Sumner Redstone!) I get my news from The Independent Media Centre or IndyMedia.

Banfield is from my town, so we all have to love her. Anyone who makes it out of Winnipeg, Canada and becomes even remotely famous is our new hero. Seriously, this city is like a black hole. Once you're in, you're never getting out. :eek:

If I watch news on TV, then its CBC, CBC Newsworld, or CTV Newsnet. Sometimes I'll watch the local news.
