Apple this week signed a lease to bring a new Apple store to Columbus, Ohio. The retail outlet will be located in Polaris Fashion place, according to people familiar with the matter.

The new Apple store will be the second in Columbus. The existing store is at the Easton Town Center.

Why can't they put one in Dayton, Ohio?

I used to live 5 mins from the one in Ardmore, PA, but now I live an hour from Columbus and an hour from Cincinnatti.

Luckily I'll be visiting family in Philly next week and I'll be able to check out the iPad in the Ardmore store.

They need to put one in North Canton, Ohio. It's a perfect place for a new Apple Store, as it serves as a shopping Mecca for the surrounding areas. I know the perfect building for the new location. Currently, it's an upscale strip club in the center of a busy shopping area. The building is beautiful, especially when it's lit up at night. It was formerly a jewelry store. The building's architecture and surroundings just scream to be an Apple Store.
