not surprising since you can't buy an ipad in the UK. why torture you with being able to buy apps for it this far ahead.

and I wonder how many folks believed the tweet going around today about Jobs canceling the release cause on second thought not having Flash is stupid.

I can imagine the reaction on the MTR when I whip out the iPad and start playing Dungeon Hunter HD while everyone else is on their PSP and NDS.

Remember that's also the (white) guy who won't shop at the Apple Store not just because there are staff members following him around and looking over his shoulder while he shops, but because there are BLACK staff members following him around and looking over his shoulder while he shops.

    I agree. Ignore.

That's an hour long video. A few important points were made, not by Ihnatko, but by Alex.

    1. Some people may consider using this as a simplified replacement for a laptop or computer. But without the ability to print from Pages or Numbers or Keynote, for instance, this becomes extremely limited.

    2. You cannot add fonts to Pages or Keynote on the iPad. What if you import a Pages document that uses custom fonts not included in the iPad version? This question remained unanswered by Andy I.

There a lot of other things that keep this from being a replacement for many people. To name a few....

    3) The inability to use external drives additional storage.

    4) Require iTunes on a PC for getting media (unless you with to start from scratch with iTS) and for backing up.

    5) In ability to sync iPhones and iPods to it.
