have spent a few hours with Google's new Browser, Chrome for Mac. My initial impression is that it is extremely fast, in comparison to Safari and especially Firefox. There are plenty of extensions and themes. One important extension for many Mac users is the 1Password extension. There is a beta version of 1Password available at Chrome Beta Extension version 0.6.2

It works well enough even though it has some feature limitations in comparison to its full fledged Safari and firefox counterparts.

To address the personal security issues I do not like the fact that Google tracks my browsing habits. However I know that they do it in order to be able to better target theirs advertisements. Ultimately, even though I do not like this it does not harm me. They are not sharing personal information like Facebook has been doing. As long as it is anonymous I really find no significant reason to be more than mildly concerned.

In conclusion do not hesitate to download Chrome. It is a significant leap forward in the browser wars.

Yes i also have tried it and I also like its all of the features. And I agree with you that it is fast compare to safari and Firefox. It has also many good features as compare to Google. I have not used it at all but tries it only once. Up till now I was using Firefox but I have decided to use that one.

because anything you type in the url/search box gets sent to google if you don't.

Add this Chrome extension which opts you out of Google analytics which website hosts use to track users visiting there sites: https://chrome.google.com/extensions...mkghcbnh?hl=en
