If I had my way, the DoJ would pause their investigation into Apple and launch and very public and thorough investigation into the practices of the music labels, RIAA and MPAA. These cartels possess far more power within their markets, often exercise by interfering with the business and trade of others and use their influence to maintain their position. These seem to be, by almost any definition, monopoly players that have abused their positions.
Obama hired 5 RIAA lawyers to key positions in the Dept. of Justice.
There are two sources of power and money (& corruption) in the United States, Hollywood/media/unions/liberal/Left and the Oil/corporations/business/conservative/Right.
We just bounce between the two evils, one is lessor than the other at times.
Who ran up $1.6 trillion in losses (far more than any bank) gambling in sub-prime with Freddie and Fannie with our tax dollars and then proceed to pay for it by taxing health care? The Left.
Guess who has control of the White House, the Senate and the House at this time? The Left.
It's not about what's right, it's about who's in charge.
The RIAA see's all the billions Apple has in the bank and wants some of it.
If Apple makes a deal to enrich the RIAA better with iTunes, like a bigger cut, watch how the DOJ investigation magically disappears.
