Apparently my problem of Apple being unable to complete set up online for home delivery and requiring me to visit an Apple Store occurred when I tried to order an iPhone 4 to replace an old Samsung phone. When I tried to replace my 3G iPhone, I was successful. I got confirmation of a shipping date of July 2 with a delivery date of July 5-6. The online Apple Store is now giving a July 14 shipping date. I made it just in time.

So this means that by Friday, BLACK iPhone 4s will be delivering in August. So the idea of White iPhone 4s not shipping until Mid-August is an optimistic guesstimate. Oh my!
At least we'll all have iOS4 to keep us happy through the summer of anticipation.
They offer me $226 for mine in perfect condition with the original bits that came with it. I could have easily got that from ebay, but with a lot more hassle, plus paying a bit to PayPal. If you have sold on ebay, you know the drill. Gazelle sent me a pre-paid shipping box. It was completely hassle free.
I just checked the site, and the offer for the same item is now $188. As you can imagine, the longer you wait, the less value your phone has. I got mine in while my 3GS had a greater value than the phone I will be replacing it with. Good luck.
Last summer I turned down an offer for $400. But now I felt lucky to get $200. Plus I had to install a new battery myself for $31 before I could sell it unlocked & jailbroken. Buyer slipped in her active T-Mobile SIM Card and it worked perfectly.

Oh, yes. It's obviously Apple's fault that you chose to sell your phone before getting a new one.
That's funny, I read his post twice and not once did I hear him suggest it was Apple's fault. You must have inside info as to what he was "not saying"
