Way to go ... I see you've "mastered the art" of chopping up a persons quote until it says what you want it to say instead of using the entire quote which says something very different .... you really are behaving like an asshole ... not much of a stretch for you 'tho ...right?
So I called AT&T about the yellowish splotches in the bottom corners of my new iPhone 4. They say they will gadly replace it but I have to pay full price for the new one before they will ship it. Then when they get the defective one back they will credit the discounted price back to me and then I will have to wait up to two months to get the credit on the new one to reflect the discounted price. Is AT&T ony drugs or something? If they are going to sell the product they should stand behind it!!!!
So you have a problem with an Apple product that you bought at a subsidized price and you expect AT&T to send you another one for free without insurance that they'll get the "defective" product back as compensation? Really?! Maybe you should call Apple about a defective Apple product seeing as how there is a direct line to the manufacturer.
I know this is off topic, but thought this was fun. With Face Time, we have now confirmed that the fridge light does indeed go off when you close the door!
For what it's worth I just set mine up and the screen is great. With no yellow spots at all. The bars don"t go up or down no matter where I hold the phone.
I just bought the 32gb iPhone 4, and haven't noticed any of these problems (yellow discoloration on the screen) or the rampant antenna problem other are having. Guess I should consider myself lucky for now.

Standard practice for electronic returns. If you don't want to do it, either go to the AT&T store (when they have some in stock) or take it to an Apple Store.

This is pretty typical. And can you blame them?
They want to make sure you actually send it back before they send you a new one. This prevents you from hocking a perfectly good phone on eBay and then trying to get one for free.
But if you're only encountering the yellow screen issue, try using it for a couple of days. Most of the afternoon reports I've read say it's a problem with the adhesive they used on the glass not fully evaporating. People have reported their screens' yellow spots have faded.
I know this is off topic, but thought this was fun. With Face Time, we have now confirmed that the fridge light does indeed go off when you close the door!
I'm not seeing a good enough reason to pay thousands for a laptop from Apple when a Ubuntu Linux laptop would cost a few hundred and provide excellent security for all my netbook needs.
The new Ubuntu release is excellent, any Mac user could use it fast. Tons of free software, Flash and Firefox is a great browser.

I've been enjoying Ubuntu for about two years now. Yes, 10.04 rocks. I use it daily on my netbook, and recently resurrected an old PC with Xubuntu.
Since I go back and forth between OS X and Ubuntu all day I like how 10.04 has incorporated a few Mac-like touches, like moving the window controls to the left. Nice stuff.
I am legitimately concerned. I'm actually not buying one now. This looks like a hardware issue folks.
