Please ignore my American countryman. Many of them are simply ignorant to anything outside of the US, and actually think that going abroad means visiting Canada or Mexico and do not have a passport. I do love watching as they speak louder thinking that the person they are speaking to will suddenly understanding the shouting. Also, most Americans have zero point zero clue that great swaths of the world speak more than just one language, so do not waste your time trying to get a reasonable answer, that is unless you want to talk about waging wars, bombing people or something along those lines.
