Heh, I've already had this conversation with the doctor. "You'll be asked to stay very still". "Did I tell you that you'll have to stay very still"? "Some people have trouble staying still". Alright! Enough already! I'm not two. I can stay still for - oooh - minutes at a time!

I've educated myself about my illness. I've read, I've asked questions. I'm aware of most of the facts. However, this is one of those times where I'd have preferred blind ignorance.

I have some clarification. If there's associated problems with lymph nodes, then sometimes directed application is required. This isn't so in my case. I'll just be weighed and measured over the weekend before treatment starts.

I'm the same. A perpetual student, I guess. That's why I agreed to take on my current job when I'd already packed it all in to open up my own company. The lure of time and money for research products is too irresistible.
Hey, this is on track! I think it's important kids know that exposure to radiation doesn't always give you superpowers.
Um, okay, other than that, The Hulk sucks. It's just that whole Jekyll and Hyde thing, and Hyde in this case isn't nasty enough. The Hulk has lousy superpowers.
Heading back into the woods... what does TBI stand for?

Total Body Irradiation. They zap you with lots of lovely rays to kill off your bone marrow before replacing it with (hopefully) healthy stuff.

Awww, well thank you spaceman_spiff. That would mean so much to me if I didn't know that you tried the same line on robo at the AI Christmas party. Amorph also claims you groped him in the Digital Hub forum, though I have a feeling it was perhaps just wishful thinking.
In radiation therapy theres always something "worse". Be glad it's not Total Skin Irradiation. Not that the treatment is hard but the cancer you have to have to earn a total skin irradiation is not fun at all.

Really now. You should know enough by now to take their stories with a grain of salt. Wasn't robo more than a little tipsy at that party? As for Amorph, well, everyone knows it's time to look for a graceful exit whenever he tries to tell you about his superpowers.
They've been shooting Daredevil in downtown L.A. for a few weeks now. My friend has a loft down there and they've been lighting up just the tops of the buildings in his area and shooting scenes.
Before he mentioned it, I had never heard of Daredevil.
I don't think that is the one. That is the 'The Sandman'. On Marvels site there is a bio of a character called 'Sandman'. But I hope it's the movie on 'The Sandman' because I heard those comics are insane.
Ang Lee is gonna do the Hulk? Man, Marvel knows what its doing when hiring directors. Rami did the spiderman experience SO near to perfect IMO. It was like watching a comic book.
Ang Lee, thats a particularly appropriate name in this instance...

Daredevil was a blind guy who kicked a lot of ass. Very cool...
I also heard a rumor of a Captain America movie... anyone heard anything on this?

The incredible hulk was always one of my favs. Never a big fan of Spiderman, but Hulk is just crazy. I like crazy
As for Sam Raimi, He still hasn't topped Army of Darkness. That's quality film, dude.

Spidey was always the coolest.

I must say The Hulk isnt my favorite either, I never really like him that much. I'm an X-Men kind of person
I liked the Mr. Fixit version of Hulk best. I was never able to get into X-Men although I thought the movie was decent.

Thanks for the info. He seems like a pretty lame character. Although if they got someone like Garth Ennis to write stories for him...

Takes me back to my comic book collecting days as a youngster.
