    What a loony idea!

If I want to buy an iPad, why should some of the money go to application vendors for apps that aren't even on my iPad?

And if I'm willing to pay Apple $x for my iPad and AT&T $29.99 per month for access, why in the world should they give up some of that revenue simply because you're too cheap to buy the apps you use?

C'mon. You already know that's not even probable let alone plausible.
