I think I saw you in the elavator at CC today. I was the younger kid, not my father.

You:

1) Had a G3/500 Pismo

2) Had an X-Box

3) Was around CC

Was it you?

Okay I can spot the difference between a Wallstreet, Lombard and a Pismo on a long distance but how the hell can you see the difference between a 400 and 500 pismo without opening "about this mac"

Dang it! Now another AI member knows who I am.

Yeah, it was me. Why were you up in Beverly? Spying on my company?

It was not Fran, Fran do not carry a pismo, he carry an other device. I will not tell you more : it's top secret.

    The convergence has begun ...

How the hell did you realize it was Fran? I'm sure other people have 500MHz Pismos. That's really cool though.

    CC = Cummings Center

It's the only United Shoe Factory (aka "The Shoe") converted into an office park.

And no, I didn't misspell it.

Well, I didnt realize it was him until 5 minutes afterward.

I knew he worked at CC from a post, or perhaps that member info on the side of posts at one time. So I just put 2 and 2 together.

    It's really not that difficult.

...or I feel a "DOH!" coming on.

Fran as in Francis, or as in Francine? You can tell I don't pay much attention to the AI social scene / gender of members with ambiguous names. I thought Fran was a chic. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Let's see, who else am I assigning the wrong gender too...?

Well it isn´t the first time someone have mistaken Fran for a female....

    on these boards

Its much easier here in Denmark. If your name ends with a vowel its a she in 99% of the cases and so on.

    Not again.

Maybe I should change my displayed name, because this happens WAY too often.

Edit: At least that explains Moogs disturbing first post.

Yes, Fran441, I hope you were using a trolley or had some form of lower back support?

How do you think I hurt my lower back in March? I couldn't go to work for a month!

Yes, I have an Xbox. I was lucky enough to win one. People at work love Jedi Knight 2 and discovered that the Xbox has some Star Wars games out there like Obi Wan, Jedi Starfighter, and Starfighter SE. They, knowing that I had an Xbox, insisted that I bring it in and show people. The worst part was lugging it around.
