You're going to be mashing pizza into paste and eating it if you keep that up.

Does anyone else mix drinks? I'm so childish when I go to somewhere like Burger King. I mix like almost every drink together except for the diet stuff. I even put ice tea in there! That ish tastes good though....what I really wanna try mixing is Coke, Ginger Ale, and some lemonade that's carbonated.

Well, when I was down there I thought there was a non-diet version of the uh, grapefruit drink (name escapes me). That's never made it up here, either. It was pretty good on a hot day, IIRC.

Fresca! (but the non-diet version was another, different name).

    Heh, it's probably called Fresco.

Moving back to the topic, did you folks know that Diet Coke is not just coke minus the sugar, plus the aspartame? Coke II is actually a sugared version of diet coke. Supposedly you can actually still find this stuff, here and there, since Coca Cola still makes it. I've been casually looking for it for quite some time.

    . . . And I still haven't seen vanilla coke.

Funny you should ask. I mixed Coke and Sprite tonight for dinner. And I'm not 'kid', either.

Here's an interesting story about NEW coke, too.

If you drink vanilla coke warm, it feels/tastes like it has vodka in it.

That's called a Witch Doctor. Most of the independent places around my part of the world had it on the menu. Also Cherry-Lemon-Sundrop (Sundrop is a local version of Dew here in the South).

Does anyone know what happened with Lemon Diet Coke? Did they cancel it? That stuff is GREAT. I can't find it in the smaller stores around here -- haven't seen it since Feb. or March.

If you guys ever get to "Food Lion" country, you gotta try Cheerwine. Bottled in Salisbury NC, it tastes like cough syrup (in a GOOD way). Very good stuff.

I used to do this all the time. Even without the iced tea, if you mix enough flavors together (minimum of four), it still tasted like iced tea. Iced tea is to flavor as khaki is to color.

I still see it around. IMO Pepsi Twist (regular and diet) is much better.

Isn't that the whole premise behind Long Island Ice Tea? Mix together a bunch of random alcohols, and it tastes like iced tea (and gets you trashed quickly)

edit: (typos, it's 6 am, I haven't been to sleep, and my paper doesn't seem to be writing itself. I could go for a nice drink by now...)

An interesting twist in the VC saga. My wife bought some last week. These had different, green caps on them. Every single one of them had a 'free 20 Oz. Vanilla Coke' winner printed underneath the cap.

    Simply, heaven!

One of my local stores FINALLY got some Vanilla Coke in....although there were only two liters there. Tastes like a mix of A&W Root Beer/Cream Soda and Coke. Pretty damn good, though I wouldn't want to drink it too much on a regular basis. I'll save the Mountain Dew and Pepsi for that.

Yeah, I drink Dr. Pepper and Mr. Pibb (now Pibb Xtra) a lot. Actually, I tend to drink a wide variety of sodas (but not Sprite and 7-UP, well, I drink Cherry 7-UP occasionally). The problem is my town is TOTALLY dominated by Pepsi machines and the stuff in the stores is largely Pepsi.

Hell, there are four Pepsi machines at my school and no other brands (one is Aquafina, but it sells mostly Pepsi products. I hate that thing, it's like a regular vending machine only made for 20 oz. bottles. Anyway, the bottles get stuck regularly and ocassionally one pops. Gets all sticky then they all get stuck and pop more, they have to clean the thing like every 3 days. In addition the floor in the student lounge in that corner is now a mess. Fsck you Pepsi! And whoever engineered that thing, needs to be fired.)

Aquafina is a Coca-Cola company. Perhaps they shouldn't stick Pepsi bottles in Coca-Cola vending machines. I would blame the vending machine more than the bottles.

I've had a Vanilla Coke every day this week, I think that I am addicted to the stuff... I've had cream soda and never really liked it.... but I love vanilla coke! I don't like regular coke casue it feels too sugary in my mouth but for some reason the vanilla coke dosn't leave that feeling.

I have never been a big fan of any Cola products, but when I first had Vanilla Coke, I turned to my girlfriend and said "oh my my, oh hell yeah, baby put on your party dress". I like cream soda, but vanilla coke is like cream soda with a cola base instead of a root beer base. I don't know, it's mad good though.

Pepsi tastes like tasteless Coke. Seriously. Take the flavor out of Coke and you're left with Pepsi.
