Another great song, I like the lyrics of this version of God Save The Queen better than yours though The Installer!

    [code]

God save the queen her fascist regime

it made you a moron a potential H bomb !

God save the queen she ain't no human being

there is no future in England's dreaming

Don't be told what you want don't be told what you need

there's no future no future no future for you

God save the queen we mean it man (god save window leen)

we love our queen god saves (god save... human beings)

God save the queen cos tourists are money

and our figurehead is not what she seems

Oh god save history god save your mad parade

Oh lord god have mercy all crimes are paid

When there's no future how can there be sin

we're the flowers in the dustbin

we're the poison in your human machine

    we're the future your future

God save the queen we mean it man

there is no future in England's dreaming

No future for you No future for me

No future no future for you

As far as I know it's Bryan Adams with (Everything I Do) I Do It For You and this <a href="http://www.wonderlandpromotions.co.uk/PressReleases/PressRelease.asp?eventref=107"; target="_blank">Worderland Promotions</a> press release seems to agree.

No wonder people laugh at us..."Quaint" is being kind. I think the Royal Family make us look pathetic.

(Sorry to go on I know it' irrelevant to nearly everyone in the world (you lucky b*****ds) but this is a bad weekend for a democrat/republican in the UK)</strong><hr></blockquote>

Hey, I am no royalist and there are some valid gripes here but hey, you brits have to be proud sometimes. Instead of aways looking at the negative, try looking at the positive. I know that is hard to do here with the crappy weather and all but for me being a yank here in London, I was proud for you and seeing lots of happy Brits (that includes the Scots, Welsh, Northern Irish and all the people from the former commonwealth).

take some pride sometimes. Its OK to wave your flag sometimes and look at some good points. We know the queen is mostly a figurehead but its part of your centuries old history.

    cheer up

now, for that stupid "pop idol" guy big here in UK, he's gotta go!

Excuse my humble opinion of a foreigner , but for me the tradition of UK is the royaltie, like the tradition of France is the Republic.

Without a Queen or a King, the UK will be not the UK.

Despite dwelling as I do in a metaphorical cludgie on the slippery shores o' societal disenfranchisement, I am inclined to agree wi' The Installer (MBE) and Mr Eatme. I greatly enjoyed the spectacle o' the jubilee celebrations and it seemed tae make a lot o' people very happy too, which cannae be such a bad thing. I wid even go so far as tae say that if I paid tax I'd be happy tae see it going tae put another layer o' gold leaf and a diamond or twa on Her Royal Majesty's majestic royal coach horses.

    Well, Sir Mac' os the Isles, I must concur - it's much easier for the masses of hhumanity living on the shores of that wonderful island to contribute a small portion of their wealth to make someone who inheirited a title of no consequence to give them a little mor egold.;

    \\

GAH! I HATE NOBILITY! THE VERY NOTION OF INHEIRITED STATION IS DISGUSTING! INheirited wealth is OK, and perhaps people can respect you for wealth, whether you deserve it or not, butt following you into war or on issues of national consequence because youemerged from some Regent's loins... gah!

I wonder if royal sperm is valuble. Does the UK even have sperm banks?

[quote]Macvasco has it right. The Uk is controlled by the most corrupt, evil and merciless bastards ever to walk the Earth. The will of the people is nothing but a phrase that has no meaning. Millions of people live in despair, disillusionemnt, frustration and hopelessness as they meander through their tedious, repetitive unfulfilling lives - just to survive. Whilst Blair and his

friends in Big Business just keep getting richer. They are the new aristocracy. An elite that belive themselves inherently superior and born to rule.

If u ever thought the matrix was fiction, come and live here in the uk for a while.

Don't just single out the UK. Every industrialized nation on the planet ends up like that by default, just as those of the "undeveloped" third world surely and predictably will in the future.

Guys .. cheer up .. there's always the Dr Strangelove option... just hit that red button and all your trouble will be gone....along with those 'evil' fatcat leaders of our 'human farming system' ....

I have a suggestion to you who hate our industrialized world... how about colonizing Antarctica ? or would that be considered as an illegal occupation, dispossessing the poor penguins ?

I am against like the vast majority of french people. Our tradition is to be a republic and not a constitutional monarchy. There is some royalist here, but these people generally does not love democratia or our parlementary system, seeing it has a backward and corrupt : all they want in general is a strong monarchy, and not a figurehead.

i am for the respect of tradition, even if they have to be modernized.

Asking to re-install the royal line, is like asking to bring back US in the commonwealth even if they remove all political, military and economical implications.
