Why move to Core-i chips when that means using an IntelHD IGP. The Nvidia 320M has been shown to be a much better option and allow for a more balanced system. IOW, a slightly faster CPU and a downgraded GPU, or add a much faster GPU. I’d like to see a CULV Core-i7 but only if they add a proper GPU, too.

    For comparison:
    — i7-640LM (4M L3 cache, 2 Cores, 4 Threads, 2.13 GHz 32nm) $332

    — SL9600 (6M L2 cache, 2 Cores, 2 Threads, 2.13 GHz 1066 MHz FSB 45nm) $316
In fact, I only see one Core-3 that has a TDP under 35W: Intel® Core™ i3-330UM Processor (3M cache, 1.20 GHz). And I can’t even find it on Intel’s current price list for shipping chips, yet there are 5 Core-i7s with an 18W TDP.

    Why wouldnt it use:

    eg: intel i5-520UM $241.00 .... http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=47554
