I have a Motorola V2288. It may not have much choice of ringtone but the WAP poker keeps me amused.
Motorola V60c, just got it like yesterday or soemthing... its OK, i liked my old piece of shit phone better, i could "search" the #s, i cant do that on the V60... I really wanted to get the Treo, but it doenst work on verison's servers.... god damn phone companies...
I havent had enough time to fool around with it, but does anyone know if it is possible to use it as a modem for TiBook if i were to get one in the future... bluetooth is not necessary, a uSB cable will do'
Bah, I don't buy any GSM piece-of-crap. Qualcomm CDMA is the only way to go. Once I got used to the clarity and general excellence of Verizon's IS-95 network, I accept nothing less.
Oh yeah, I have the StarTac CDMA. I'm quite glad that 3rd gens are going to all be CDMA.
In response to some general senitment about really nice Nokia's: If they're not CDMA, they're not nice at all. It's a beautiful phone with lots of features -- some cool, some stupid -- but my experiences with GSM and IS-134 (TDMA) have been lackluster. Worse reception, worse clarity, and a liklihood of getting cut-off when switching between cells. Even the cool features of Nextel weren't enough for me to get past it's TDMA limitations.

Its a little on the heavy side and the battery doesn't last long so I think I will upgrade soon.
Samsung a400. Good phone.

Jamie, when is that phone coming to the US? I love it. I want it.

Probably never, the really nice Nokias tend not to make it to your fine shores. I can't say for certain though.

Didn't choose it, don't really care. It works fair enough.
