Old DOS games...
Hm, .. just wondering...
How to make the old legendary DOS games (arkanoid, pacman etc) work in os x ..??
Or where to find on-line-versions of them in flash or anything... anything like all those legendary stuff... that run on os x??
Then ... which of those are or were your fav games??

Ah, the memories. Really nice stuff sometimes.
I loved MULE, if anybody knows that, and Boulderdash II and The Great American Cross-Country Roadrace (a bit portentious perhaps, that title), and Monte Zuma, and so on. I think I have played Boulderdash the most. I must have finished all the levels of that game like 20 times at least.
I used to have some OS9 software that allowed you to download the actual ROM images from arcade machines (space invaders, pac man etc) and play the games on your Mac. I think the software itself was legal, but I can't remember what it was called or whether an OSX version was developed. Perhaps other people can help.

Cool! if you .. or someone else finds something like that for os x .. wooow!!!
Just that i have to go then to search for the floppies.. they are 3000 km from me...
Or i'll have to find someone to email me then.. maybe that works better...
Just feel like playing those dos games today...
Everything goes wrong... those can't ...

MacMame is an emulator for all the classic arcade games like Pac man Ms Pac man millipede, centipede, etc. . it has been carbonized, though i haven't try it. i used it on OS 8. and it was just like real arcade games. you can get emulators for atari, nintendo, sega etc. email for links to Roms. macmame can be found doing a search on google.

LOVED that game. Tried playing it on MacMAME awhile back and absolutely LOATHED it....because I kept losing. I haven't the patience I once had.
