You forgot the part in the progress where some hacker figures out how to create a html5 ad block.
As for the main article, I was rather hoping that Adobe would stick to their guns a while longer. I do hate Flash but was a little proud of them for having the balls to flip Jobs the finger. And I was really hoping they would make Flash work to shut up the naysayers. This just feels like Jobs was right along and they are too lazy to do it right so they are giving up.
Last time I have seen it, Flash was working on Samsung Galaxy S phone and Android 2.2 or 2.3. Why the delay on 3.0 Honeycomb, I don't know. But I believe it will be there when majority of vendors start releasing their Honeycomb tablets, some time in April.

Maybe they can't afford to have poor battery life numbers published on release day?
gah, discussions here wouldn't complete without the snotty adobe shill crap. ...
Speaking of shills, you're right on schedule.
However, just to set the record straight, mstone is not a shill, he's simply misguided. MacRulez is a troll, chronster is something between a troll and simple Apple hater. The only Adobe shill in the thread so far is Groovetube.
There's just a lot of random hate all over this forum. When Steve says "Jump!", the fans ask "How high?"; the specifics of any given issue don't seem to matter much. People who never had an opinion about Adobe one way or another drank the hateraid in one gulp as soon as the infamous (and later backpedaled) "Thoughts in Flash" was posted.
Now Adobe plays ball and the haters still hate.
I guess this is what people do when they don't have an actual religion, they just get religious about trivial things.
Yes we do... and for those about to rock we salute you! Yes we do!

just because you say so? Some rude loudmouthed annonny with a keyboard? pffft.
If all that were true, then I would say you, are simply a know nothing loud mouthed rude jackass.
Just because people have an opinion based on whatever their experience is, doesn't automatically mean they 'shill' for anyone. You somehow feel that your opinion is the only one that matters, and will call anyone who dares differ a troll, 'misguided', or a shill. Which says it all right there.
If I "shill" for anyone simply because I use their products for a living, then my list would be quite extensive, starting with apple, microsoft, adobe, macromates (since I use textmate for most of my coding these days), plenty of open source apps I use regularly and promote because I happen to like them, the list goes on.
And if I actually "shilled' for anybody, that would be apple. As I have convinced an awful lot of people to buy macs, or other apple stuff, and I don't think I've even once, convinced anyone to buy an adobe product.
