Why throw all that $$ down the toilet for shipping, duties, etc? Just wait and buy it from Sweden, or at least from some country on your side of the pond.
Doubtful he's throwing any money away, as the cost of buying an iPad in Europe is 150% to 200% the cost in the States. Given the cost of shipping and around 20% VAT, he'll probably break even or even save a little. Difference being, he may get the iPad quicker.
Analysts should stick to predicting sales figures and such, and not speculate on new features.
The trouble with sales predictions, especially in the case of Apple, is that failure to meet those predictions immediately brings out the haters, claws dripping with venom. This 600,000 figure is now set in stone, gospel to the tech media. If Apple sells "only" 500,000 the iPad 2 will be declared a disappointment, a failure. See the Verizon iPhone.

Wasn't the iPhone release on Verizon the biggest selling phone introduction for them ever? Most people ordered online, so maybe the absence of big lines led some people to believe that it wasn't selling too much.
Regardless, the haters are going to hate anyway. That's what they do, it's in their blood and it's in their DNA. Even if and when the iPad eventually comes out with a Retina display, the haters are still going to hate. Many people bashed the first iPad when it first came out and these same people are of course going to continue to bash it, no matter how many millions it sells. First they said prior to it's release that it was going to flop, then when it sold millions, they just changed their argument and said that everybody who bought them were really being brainwashed by Steve Jobs and all these millions of people were ignorant.

No case is going to touch my iPad2. I don't want to hide the beauty of it by putting it inside a case. You might as well cover up your woman in a burka too. I like my women naked and the same goes for my iPad.

I'd like to see the iPad 2 knock the Guinness Kinect sales record into the dumpster. Imagine comparing sales of some Kinect device to the iPad with an almost 4X price differential. The only consolation is that Apple is making nearly 4X the money Microsoft is getting for the Kinect.
