As a former Genius bar-tender, I can only think what a shame it was a hoax.
No, no, no... I don't really want people blown up, but I do hate Apple. Used to adore it. Now I think the products are great but the company is repulsive. If Microsoft did one tenth of what Apple is doing now in terms of near anti-trust violation and collusion, villagers would be storming the castle in Redmond with torches.
I learned the hard way... don't follow Apple blindly. Under the hood, these guys play rough.

What's wrong. Didn't they love you as much as your mommy?

It's only Monday and you've already won Nutbar of the Week!
Seriously, why do bomb threats (anywhere) make the news?
It only inspires anarchists and copycats.
Although maybe it says something, when some people judge the glee of a bomb-threat disruption to be worth a ruined life (along with being the popular new inmate on the cell block).
It must have been some disgruntled Droidtard or some impatient whiner who waited on line for an iPad 2 for six hours and still came up empty. There are just far too many nut cases in this world.
Bomb Hoaxer: 1993 called, they want their OS back.
I saw that graphic and I screamed, "Oh shit!"... and then I realized it "was" just a graphic. Obviously the crash bomb has left me traumatized... all the years that have passed cannot erase it from my mind...
Bomb Hoaxer: 1993 called, they want their OS back.
Back in the day, we used to write small startup files that would really screw with unsuspecting fellow Mac users.
My favorite was the one that said you had a system error (with the bomb image), and then would say something to the effect of "For your protection, your hard drive will now erase in 3... 2... 1... etc. and then the screen would go blank for several minutes, or in another version a graphic would appear with a reverse progress bar, showing how much of your hard drive had been "erased", then the screen would go blank as in the first version.
No one died, no Mac's were destroyed while the victim was in "panic mode." Mostly it was good clean fun - the kind of fun that would get people fired nowadays. But, then again, nowadays people get fired because it's discovered they voted the "wrong" way.
Just another one of their terroristic traits...... The gov. of Wisconsin has received numerous death threats from them already..... they pretty much hate anyone, or any company that is the slightest bit successful. They want to take what they think is theirs, and destroy the company in the process. Regardless of whether or not you get to keep your job or not.
I'd be willing to put money on it. They started with their bullshit at the Disney stockholders meeting.... and now they're going to start terrorizing employees of Apple high and low.
If I'm right Apple legal should be set to unleash and sue the ever living crap out of them. Period... sue them into oblivion.
What evidence do you have that this is union related? First of all, do you know for a fact that the warehouse operates under a union contract? Is there any current dispute with the union? Is the union contract up for renegotiation?
More likely, this is some disgruntled employee or even a disgruntled customer. I worked for ten years at a major media company and at one (non-union) location, we had regular bomb-scares, but they were always on a Friday. Think someone wanted to leave early for the weekend?
Unions are far from perfect (and sometimes evil), but your comments reflect an absurd bias. As unions protect fewer of the country's workers, we've seen what happens without unions: real wages and benefits drop for everybody, union and non-union workers alike. Only 11.9% of American workers are unionized (and only 6.9% of private sector workers), down from 20.1% in 1983.

Anybody seen him lately? He would have the motive and the opportunity, just say'in.
It's Larry, back in charge. And how!
