Note to Asus: tablets with keyboards have been done already, for decades.

...Ahhhh... there's the truth. You are 100% correct my friend. Gotta push those crappy accessories that have high mark-ups!

Just another reason why BB is last on my list to shop for anything. Man... remember when they were good?

If only Amazon would get the iPad to sell.

I am writing this to convey my disappointment with Consohohocken, PA Bestbuy store.

On 4/9/2011 evening 9 PM, I was told by a store rep that they were going to give out IPAD 2 on 4/10/2011 (sunday) at 11 AM and was suggested to be in line around 9 AM.

This was also told to couple of other customers who showed up at the store even at 8 AM on 4/10/2011.

But when the store opened, we were told that there were no IPAD's available.

How is that possible??? This rep who told me that they will have IPAD's the following day must have not gotten the memo. So he let the words out.

This is very disappointing behavior from Bestbuy.

Best buy! You have lost my business for good. Of course, it may not matter to you that you lost the business of few customers.

I agree that making a decision to go wait in the front of the store is the decision made by the customer.

But if Bestbuy is exploiting customers like this, they are not too far away from going down.

You just cannot believe what they say. I do my best to not purchase anything from them when possible. If you tell the sales person you are just looking and you will call them if you need them, that is what you mean. Instead, half the sales people in the store keep asking you the same thing. Sometimes the same person asks you more than once. They are robots ... period.

Best Buy promoting Apple Products, I seriously doubt it.

You sir are obviously very opinionated. Best Buy has some very good people and I worked for them for several years. I know a lot (not everything) and I made it a point to understand the latest technology and how it historically developed. So when you generalize you are wrong.

Many Best Buy stores have a unique area designed by Apple to display their products and accessories. Apple is very fussy on this. This has taken place in the last few years. I was one of the specialists that kept up on this stuff. Again your generalization are simply wrong.

Best Buy wants to make sure people get a chance to be helped quickly and effectively. Yes there are times when different sales people (not knowing someone else approached you) so you just need to relax a bit. Best Buy is trying to serve their customers. I know after 11 years of helping lots of people who wanted to be helped. Robots? Here again, stop generalizing. All stores don't operate the way you are reporting.
