I want one of <a href="http://www.bentleygt.com/" target="_blank">these</a>. Sigh.

Wow. That is nice.
wireless transmitters add weight and draw alternator current, resulting in the need for a bigger alternator (more weight) and a great hp loss.
Boooh.
[QB]That's been a feature on the S Class for a while now. I'm not sure I like it. What happens if I just happen to pass my car whilst walking between stores?

I was wondering the same thing. How do you get away from the car? You get out, lcok the doors, and as you walk away they unlock again. (unless there is some kind of silly timer) Imagine locking your mercedes and then seeing a 'suit' sprint away from it as though it had a bomb in it. It would cause quite a scene just trying to get out or range before the timer went off. Sorta like arming your home security system and locking the door before it stops beeping. LOLOL. How funny! Strange, I can't see many car owners want to run.

You know? I don't like. Doesn't look right.

I'm not sure why I like it. I think maybe it's because it's a little like cars you see in old 20's and 30's movies. Big roadsters with huge, er, snouts. I'm down with the lingo, me.
Perhaps sir would prefer the more refined <a href="http://www.bentleymotors.com/bentley/picture_gallery/arnaget_3.jpg" target="_blank">Arnage T</a>?

I like the GT because it's so not like the Arnage and maybe because I'm not all that refined too. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

Yes, yes, and HELL YES!!! This car is the best thing out there! You have a fine taste in automobiles!

Heh. I was chauffeured to a business meeting in a Bentley (I think it was one of the Arnage range?) once, and got a chance to drive it round for a while, and fell in love. I bet the real world economy figures are frightening, though!
Unfortunately, though my employers provide me with a very nice car, they won't stretch the budget to meet one of these.

Ya, I got to drive a 2002 Arnage Red Label around the block once. I felt special

And ?Mercedes? is a fine sounding name (have several relatives named thus).
The Bentley GT is very pleasant too, its throughly modern W12 is sheathed in a carrozerria reminescent of the Real Bentleys? back when Albion actually had a motor industry.

It's fast as balls, but it doesn't feel right. I just don't like the way Mercedeses drive.
My choice would be the "Typ 62":
- Length: over 20 feet
- Engine: 550 hp @ 5250 rpm
- Price: about 400 000 $
Here are some <a href="http://www.edmunds.com/future/2003/maybach/62/4drsedan/preview.html" target="_blank">pics</a>.

Still aint doing it for me. I flipped when I saw the mini with the American flag painted on top. That way I can tour the country and flip the bird, in person, to all the anti-American members here at AI
If pushed I'd have to go for the neo muscle cars that the US is pushing out these days.
Dodge showed an interesting Charger concept a couple of years ago, and the 300C hemi convertable, but hasn't offered anything. Cadillac? Buick? For geezers. Plymouth? Buried and gone.
I don't exactly see any compelling "Muscle Cars" out there.
These days what I want most is a scooter.
