    I think some of you missed what i was saying. Apple is a large company with plenty of 'grammers and is fully capable of making a win32 ([xyz] linux, os/2, amiga, [place other OS here]) driver for the iPod. they didn't though. they didn't neglect it so 3rd parties could make shareware fees off it. they did it so the mac would be the center of your digitial lifestyle; ~ you gotta have a mac to have an iPod. i don't think they are taking legal action against any 3rd party who is doing this kind of work, but they probabyl dont want it. its not exactly illegal to make a driver. it seems to me that more harm is done than good tho. if all their [future] digital products (~ the iPod) work on pcs, then their bread and butter will be the cheaper little things, and not the expensive big ones (P/iMacs).
