For the record, our office has placed a bid of $27000 on the item. It still didn't meet the reserve. Additionally, in case anyone cares. It will be interesting to see what happens since we will be monitoring this VERY closely.

it did? i didn't see it
it only says like 8,600 because since the reserve isn't met, it only bids what needs to be bid to beat the previous bidder

What happens on eBay if just one person bids above the reserve price of an item, therefore putting the "current price" below the reserve... and then the auction ends? I mean, that one person was willing to pay the reserve... does it bump up the price to the exact reserve price in that case?
If you bid above the reserve, your current bid will equal the reserve price.
this isn't that hard. You tell ebay what you are "willing" to bid. It then bids for you whatever you would need to bid to be in the lead up to that amount. If you enter a maximum bid more than the reserve, you would at least need to bid the reserve to win right?
nope someone else has it. i hope people send this guy lots of hate mail, tell him to get on with it and sell the damm thing

Just buy one of those, rip the bottom out and frame it.
