Look it doesn't matter when we make it up! Bush said it becuase it's something bad about Bush. So STFU and stop using your "facts" to prove this "wrong".

Yeah, nothing like watching Dems showing their true colors.

I'm sure to consider joining a party that calls me a racist, anti-semetic, facist, evil nazi terrorist if I disagree with them.

I suppose you should hope there isn't an issue you disagree with them about. They'll probably work up a nice flash animation of you pushing old people and orphans in front of trains while calling you mean-spirited and uncompassionate.

Treason? No. However I still don't see why anyone would find this entertaining. It made me sick just listening to it.

Yeah, but they do it with the best of intentions, and in the name of global harmony and tolerance. Whatever.

For the left it's always "ends justifies the means". It doesn't matter that the US President's speech after the worst terrorist attack ever is cut up to twist the meaning and undermine the US cause against terrorism. What's important is that it makes him look bad. Also it doesn't matter that we make fun of the President off the backs of 3000 murdered people. No. What matters is that we make him look bad.

It doesn?t matter how we get there. Just that we do.

I have seen many cut ups of CLinton and I thought they were all very funny . . .

considering that that is the speach after 911 does make it something to think about . . . I didn't realize that when I first watched it.

The nature of reproducible media is that something quoted out of context becomes relevant to the new context and not completely dependant on the original situation unless it carries that situation with it somehow . . . which I believe that it always does, its just a mater of recognizing how it carries that context, which Scott helps point out...

but, it feels more like it is addressing the current situation; parodying a man hell bent on invading a soveriegn nation in an illegal manner with no real excuses . . . paradying him in order to highlight the buried aggression in his speech patterns, and, to put a twist on the assumption that the lust for invasion is justified in rational terms . . .

anyway, its sophmoric and juvenile and shouldn't be taken too seriously . . . when you can't satirize something because its too sacred then I think your relationship to that thing stands the chance that it might be over-sentimentalized and ideological.

Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom criticism. But many on the unthinking left want it to mean that. When some brain dead speech come back to haunt them they claim that their right to free speech is being taken away. That harsh criticism means censorship

But I encourage the anti-thought left to keep it up. Making fun of the president's speech about 9-11 is a great way to get votes. Don't stop!

Watch the new for a while. Sooner or later some brain dead liberal will make some offensive statement that the press jumps on. It gets trotted all over talk radio and talking head shows on TV. Then brain dead liberal tries to correct the record and ends up making it worse. Media jumps on that. Then said brain dead liberal feels like they can't say anything without it getting ripped apart and .... bingo there right to free speech has been taken away. I'll see if I can dig up a sample.

People can be brain-dead regardless of which party they choose to affiliate themselves with. I'm sick and tired of your attitude that all liberals are dumb and SPJ's that all conservatives are dumb. GROW THE F**K UP, SCOTT.
