I don't smoke. Ten years ago, i bought cigar in a old tabacco shop in San diego. I finish to give it to a friend : i never smoked it even some where flavoured with whiskey.
I tried it as a teen, couldn't get into it though. I actually stole a pack of smokes off my mom, and she found them in one of my drawers a long time later... they were too dried out to even smoke, must have been a year or 2 later.
I smoked pot a couple times when a roommate of mine in Kelowna one summer got into it with his buddies. My friends smoke it a fair bit, even though I haven't in years. It's probably the second hand smoke from those bastards at my wedding that made the frickin' drug dog pick me out of line at the airport on my honeymoon. Nothing like giving 3 security guys a little strip show.
I even did the windmill for the ****ers. They didn't seem too happy with that, or with me throwing my underwear at one of them. Oh well, good times.
i'm with anders the white...if it were legal i would probably smoke a little hash every now and then...saturday nights i might take a toke or two instead of a beer or two...as it is, i'm too old to do illegal things, just not worth the hassel...
hey bot...on my wedding we were married in the woods and then went back for a pool party, live punk band reception...it was great, except that i was soaking wet in swimming trunks and passed out by the bed at 9 pm....on my freaking wedding night...and then we had a EARLY ass flight to barbados the next morning and i was so damn hung over and complaining the whole flight that i am constantly surprised that the marriage has lasted these 17 plus years....g

ahhhhh, yes, the dignity of standing outside in the rain and or cold, looks so cool!
i might rather buy a dog and pick up dog sh*t up during walks! oh yeah there's no dignity in doing that either
Pack of DuMaurier Lights a day for far too long, they are most delicious. Maybe I'll quit cigs and start smoking pot now that it's essentially legal in Canada.

Well. I had to edit this post twice without the aid of marijuana, maybe I'll just stick with cigs.
pot...i used to...not much at all but i stopped, i have nothing against it, just i dont know wasn't my thing...though i did like the feeling of course
i hooked up a mac monitor to a PC computer before and it lit the PC on fire...not sure why, but the graphix card was melted, and the computer was billowing smoke
it was horrible, my basement smelled for a while and it took a while to get that smoke out after the computer melted haha
...proves Mac's and PC's dont play nice, but we know who wins

I wouldn't know - the company I work for has a designated smoking area on the thrid floor
If you don't smoke, good for you. We all know what an expensive and unhealthy habit it is. But don't be so quick to climb up on yr big high horse about those of us that choose to smoke.
Sometimes I wished I smoked, because it would give me something to hold when I'm not drinking on saturday night. But I think, if I smoked, I'd go for those thin cigars that pop up in westerns.
But I don't have the money to buy smokes, and I don't have the reasoning to make extra money for the sake of buying smokes.

well it's only a pony
well secondhand smoke has affected my health, i won't get into anymore details in a public forum
Not everyone has the same level of common sense. Even worse - nothing I hate more than to see some beat up car driving along with 2 kids in car seats in the back, and mom and dad sucking down cancer sticks in the front seat. That's when I wish I had a handgun in the car with me...

The 'high horse' comment was more generally directed at those who think smokers are obnoxious / somehow unaware of the dangers of cigarette smoke.

I'm sorry to hear that. While I will stand up for my right (and the rights of others) to smoke cigarettes as long as they remain legal, I also believe that smokers should be respectful of the rights of non-smokers. I won't light up in an environment where smoking is not acceptable nor will I force secondhand smoke on individuals who have no choice in the matter. Oh, and I totally agree about not smoking around kids. Most of the smokers I know pretty much make the same considerations.
Comments
go to a party and I will smoke, perhaps
also perhaps might in the future take a toke while by myself working on artwork . . .maybe . . .but who can say
Used to smoke, though
cigarretes quite regularly, even though it is truly stupid.
Drum and Am.spirit when I could get them.
and
I have smoked EVERYTHING at least once, you name it I've smoked it
(of smokable stuff)

Yeah, it's fine. Kids sucking in that second hand smoke for 18 years or so gives them a nice head start.
well yeah, if they have kids, they shouldn't smoke in the home, that's obvious

I'd like to ban hand guns and all kinds of smoking. Problem solved!
Well gee, I'd like to ban fun. No more fun for you. Someone's eye will get poked out.
