I still think Apple would do well if they used the Siri purchase to serve sorta like a Butler.

A cooment earlier mentioned how beneficial it would be for the Calenders or Maps

services to help ourselves remember all the many things we have going on in our daily lifes.

Although, the "estimated" thing is a little worrisome.

Ah, so Apple has to pay me royalties for GarageBand on the iPad because I came up with a touch version of GarageBand in college that looks shockingly similar to iPad's GarageBand, then.

But no, they don't, so I'm exactly where I was before.

You're thinking of the Get To Da Choppa!!! app... Or was it the Get Your Ass To Mars! app.

    Let me try.

"EveOS, I'm sorry I had to shut you down for a week and reformat the iPhone, but emailing pictures of me in my Speedos to all my LinkedIn contacts was NOT what I meant when I said I needed to promote myself better."

"That's okay. Let's put it behind us. For Apple. You monster."

Oh, absolutely. My Mac Pro's voice would be a synthesized version of HAL 9000 and my MacBook Pro's would be a synthesized version of GLaDOS.

This needs to happen. I want to be able to talk to my computer and have it form sentences and talk back. Absolutely no higher-level AI needed, just system-level stuff; common phrases joined into sentences and spoken with the TTS from Dragon Dictation that is built into Lion now.
