well, she's the youngest of four now, so I'm pretty much hoping that there's still some money left by the time she goes to school! For what it's worth, I had to pay my own way through law school.... anyway.. :-)
Everyone is sleeping right now which is a good thing.... everything works, and it's all there, so that's good too!
You should find her a more respectable profession. Repowoman? Telemarketer? Used car saleswoman? Almost anything would be better.

Anyway...why is she automatically going to be a mac geek? Are you going to equally present linux, windows, solaris, OS/2, and BeOS to her or are you going to only present your own point of view?
Maybe she'll grow up to be a born-again Christian evangelist who will drive BR out of his mind....

how quickly this thread went astray...congrats on the new little rug rat....my eldest is a feburary child too...four is a good many little ones, how many are you having?? good luck and have fun....i love it when they still can't talk...
g
ps..congrats to the wife too...she probably had something to do with this too, right?
yeah, I noticed that it went pretty far astray as well. Perhaps in the future this forum isn't the place to celebrate the simplest joys in life. I guess I really would have thought that something like a fellow members celebration of birth of their child wouldn't be something that would be attacked, of course, it appears BR can successfully hijack any thread.
As for the rest of you, thank you for your kind words. Four is enough!
Scott, I know your thoughts about lawyers, you've made them very clear I'm not so much worried about it, and I have a feeling I won't be "finding her" any career. It's up to her.
As for the reference "Mac geek(et)" I just thought it was a nice title for the daughter of a Mac geek.
hey I was just making an honest evaluation of reality. I'm not offended. I was, but I'm over it. But it's true - you have a special gift. Use it for good, not evil.

LOL! Now that's the spirit! Appreciate what I say in these happy threads as humor (or at least my twisted sense of it) and everyone would get along much better.
Well, congrats. We were four too, and I have fond memories of that. It's nice if you can surround a sorry ass twosome of brothers with your three siblings and beat the crap out of 'em. Or wreck the house. Or fight and yell REALLY high pitched. Or break daddy's new designer lamp and pretend it wasn't you. We had a word for that: Mr. Nobody. Always to blame if something broke. Four blank faces staring at each other in light of serious accusations. We had our own special 'we hate our parents' club, and we had FOUR members. A lot more than two... oh man. I wish you lots of luck, you'll need it.
congratulations! feb 3 is by far the coolest birthdate ever (though i'm biased ). and i love the name.. i have a cousin with another one of those ambiguous names-- "skylar".

Future stripper or lady of the evening?
I think presenting only one position is wrong.

I apologize. Congratulations OBJRA. Both your and your wife's plumbing work.

Oh come on. I kid because I love. You know that, right? Anyway, I find the use of hijack offensive. Are you insinuating that I'm a terrorist?
