1) For those of you who have DP machines, playing a QT movie doesn't chew up that much CPU time. The bars will stay low. And, unless Apple's redone their smp to allow someone to specify a certain task to a certain CPU, one CPU would not shoot up in activity much beyond the other. CPU time is usually distributed evenly.

I checked this out today at an Orange County Comp USA using a dual 1GHZ machine. What I noticed was one movie did not make a bar jump up as high as in this G5 movie. Two movies made two bars move but nothing like this G5 movie so I suspect the movie is a fake.
The video??? who knows what it is. All it could be is two twin processor computers digitaly remastered into it looking like a quad processsor. I'm looking harder into the movie and it smells a little like fish..
Hey everyone, I totaly go with muchfresh. I cant find anything on the video to make it fake. The only thing that would make it take more processor power to play on a twin processor computer is bad converting it to a smaller file.

You guys!
The video is real video.
But what are you seeing?
Quad G4?
Quad 604?
G5 800?
Gigawire Cluster...???

You tell us.
This is a fake for two reasons:

Too bad. It sure looks like a real movie to me.

the real question is: will we ever see one in real life or is this just some super high tech prototype mubo jumbo that Apple never releases?
who's tom robbins?
im a reader but i've never heard of him.
whats he written?
I have a 867 G4 and it takes approx. 1 sec. to launch CPU Monitor.
I counted 6 bounces in this video.
You telling me that a quad G5 takes longer to launch CPU Monitor than my lowly single G4?
Sorry, it's a fake.
