One war I would fight for is for the constitution . . . keep its freedoms as they are.... the nation can change governments but if it no longer uses the constitution as its ground and operates in this land then that's cause for war

One thing I would point out is that the Constitution is a living document. While obviously you cannot compromise its foundation nor the first 10 Amendments, you can in fact add new Amendments to protect your basic liberties. I don't have any agenda here, nor am I thinking of particular ideas for Amendments at all. I'm just saying that it is malleable.

Hopefully, if we feel the need to amend the Constitution, we won't make stupid Amendments like the prohibition one or a flag burning Amendment.

don't get me started on a flag burning amendment....(like we have so many flag burnings right now...hell, the flag is plenty protected...try burning a flag almost anywhere in the US and at least a couple of guys are gonna jump out of a pick-up and kick the flag burners ass)....we as a country couldn't pass an amendment that gives woman equal rights, yet many want to protect the flag??? i tell you what...if we pass an equal amendment rights for woman, i will be the first to line up and sign a flag protection amendment...g

Flag burning is protected speech. I've seen flags burned and never seen anyone punished for it (by officers or otherwise).
