Because, as is her wont, SJO was blowing one side way out of proportion, making a broad generalization based on a very small group.

Sorry, my question was rhetorical. I knew why you did, I'm just looking for concrete evidence, something you do all the time. SJO may have exaggerated something, but there was support for her position.
You have neither exaggerated nor supported your case.

thanks g.
i would worry more about him on the ground than in the air. he's an awacs driver. probably the safest place to be in times of war. the airforce is quite protective of those funny looking things. more of chance of getting hit on the ground by terrorist or random scuds than ever getting targeted in the air. he personaly couldn't give a shit one way or the other how this plays out. he just wants to do his job and get back to his family as soon as possible, what ever that route may be.
You know what's funny about that? You have one group that can acknowledge the sometimes shady reasons and treat vets with respect, some that ignore the shady reasons and treat vets with respect and then those who acknowledge the shady reasons and spit on them.
Now, don't think about this too long, who does more to screw with their minds? Hmmmm.

I'd vote for the one's that acknowlege the shady reasons and then spit on them. The vets aren't at fault here. It's the politicans who order them to go. Like I said they don't deserve the treatment they get most of the time. The invalid nature of some of these other wars is just the reason it's happening.
That doesn't change the fact that those other wars are wrong. That in turn shapes people's opinons. But, when they look down their noses at the vets they're looking at the wrong group for blame.

Well I never even made a case, so that's good.

I love the rolleyes icon...
Will I use that to advance my pro-war position? No, I'm not dense enough to believe that such anecdotal evidence is valid.
