    Time.

Newsweek is ok, but I find Time better and more interesting. I'd get a lifetime subscription if I could.

Hey, isn't it time for someone to come along and denounce both Time and Newsweek as representatives of the liberal media establishment, or puppets of wealthy business interests, or American propaganda...

Ah, but I guess this isn't Fireside Chat anymore.

The Economist. More indepth and a wider scope. Also, probably not tied to that "damn liberal media"

Definitley Newsweek, (coming from a broadcast journalism major.) It is affiliated with NBC News and MSNBC, my two favorite news sources

I get both...the publications are practically the same...I'd probably lean toward Newsweek.

There's not really a good choice.

I guess Newsweek, because Time has too many god damn photo of the year/month/week/latesttragedy issues.

I have been subscribed to Time for about a year, and I find that it is very heavily leaning towards the Republican (read, right wing) end of the political spectrum. It was a surprise for me, used to the media of my own country, to see how almost blatantly opinionated this so-called objective news magazine is. Not only in its inherent opinionatedness did I find Time biased, it was at least as much in its choice of what it covered: I read Time at the ... time of the presidential campaign 2000 (actually, from 1999 to middle 2000), and coverage was always very much in favor of the republican candidates, as well as covering them way more extensively. This being my opinion though, does anybody have any comments?

PS. I guess its America's horror with regards to anything remotely left (read cough communistcough) that makes some people claim the media are too liberal. I've said it before, and I'll say it now: left or liberal in America is often more rightwing than rightwing in Europe, and rightwing in America is often prone to the thinking trademarked by the -admittedly numerous, yet mostly unimportant- extreme rightwing parties in Europe. So what then do you call liberal? If Time is liberal, then I'm a stunning broad with an ass that would make planes land. And as far as I know, I'm still a guy, with most the same features, thank you.
