Speaking of using a computer in odd places, I have always had the idea of placing a 15 inch flat pannel in my kitchen table. It would be pitched slightly twards me from the right side, and submerged while covered in glass to have a flat table(and prevent the screen from getting dirty). I could then hook it up to my iBook and a track ball. [I love to read while eating breakfast/brunch] My laptop wont cut it since i have developed the habit of looking down at food and newspaper while eating. Am I nuts or just off topic.
no i've heard this can lead to hemorrhoids. maybe that's just a tall tale. all i know is my step used to read on the toilet and he had hemorrhoids. plus i read it somewhere once i think</strong><hr></blockquote>
So if you're sitting without reading you're fine, but all of a sudden if you start reading you'll get hemorrhoids?
Or the fact that if you're reading, you're spending more time on the toilet without wiping. If you just get to the point and do your business quickly, then it doesn't matter. But maybe if you sit there for a while, it's worse? I don't know, I'm just speculating.

Maybe it's the loss of circulation.
