<strong>The problem ...is that his current stance on Iraq runs contrary not only to the wishes of the majority of the public, but to the platform on which he became Prime Minsiter. Sort of like the flip-flop of Republican and Democrat representation in the USA over the last couple centuries. Republicans used to be socially liberal, Democrats used to hold the South and the poor constituencies, Republicans used to be trust-busters, etc.

Spending who knows how many hours filming that crap for MTV to try and show he's 'in touch with the kids' (dolt) and only thirty minutes in Parliament when they debated the whole issue of the Iraq situation. Kinda shows his priorities. Our democracy should take place somewhere other than on subscription TV dont ya think?
Sometimes interests coalesce, ironically, the US may have wasted their chance for war months ago, now they have earned some of the flack they're getting. Blair gets wrapped in the same net only because England can't do didly squat on their own...

Blair is wrapped in a net he made. We've held off to do this dance with the U.N. because Blair wanted us to try for a second resolution. We were happy to oblige him because he's stuck his neck out so far. My guess is that it was a wasted effort. Those opposed to this war were never going to be won over.
