Perhaps it will include an Apple Cafe with iPad menus embedded in the tables!
$2,192 per day rent seems low for 23,000 square feet. Whole Food or Trader Joe's might be interested at that price. It is about 50% larger, so it is more like twice what the restaurant was paying per square foot.
Apple sometimes does what it says it won't do. With all of that extra Cupertino freeway adjacent acreage, there is opportunity for a sister ship that could contain an Apple museum ($29.95 per person) and a not so local friendly, as the attendance might rival Disneyland's, Apple Store.

One Mac Pro cost more than that.
But no Apple Store for Cupertino.

Nope, but Steve explain that before the City Council saying it wouldn't generate enough revenue, IIRC
