Well, the good news is that Manhattan escaped relatively unscathed (though there are still a few more hours of wind). Parts of Brooklyn and Queens got hit pretty bad, however, and SoHo has some flooding (I'm not sure about the SoHo Apple Store). I'm sure there will be some people complaining about an overreaction, but the storm started breaking up just before it hit New York, and it hit to the east. A few miles further west, and it would have been a very different story.
Ah ah ah close the Apple stores for a storm?!? In Trieste italy the "bora" Wind blown more than 140 miles hour for more than one days and the business never stop!!
