    It's rather simple. They made the best products around and people love them for that, both the brand and the products, but also the man. They are still just products though. It's people who are really important. Steve never called his father, and never had the relationship he probably wanted with his kids in hindsight. The world benefited from his sacrifices I suppose. He can never get that back though. Who knows? Perhaps his religious perfectionism and outrageous ambition came from unaware unconscious feelings he had for his biological Father's attention.

    I agree ... i'm just astonished at the connection ... I have a really fine toaster oven, well made and designed, but I hardly feel same about that as I do with my iStuff.
