"A new survey of customers in line at Apple stores on Friday to buy the iPhone 4S found that nearly three-quarters are upgrading from a previous version of the iPhone, while 27 percent are buying their first Apple handset."
PJ strikes again. What a stupid poll. Can you say "biased sample"? C'mon, it's going to be mostly Apple Fanatics lined up at an Apple Store to get an iPhone on the first day. Most non-Apple fans will probably take one look at the lines and decide to come back in a couple of weeks.
Even so, 27% is a hell of a huge number. If that were the final percentage of all iPhone 4S sales, that would be an incredible market-share grab.

I'd like to know how many of those were upgrading from a 3GS or older, and how many were upgrading from the 4. I know that's asking too much from a PJ poll, but I thought I'd toss that out anyway.
Getting the hell out of Spain for that Let's see how Brazil works out
Also... not everyone was born in a rich family to get the proper job to get the amount of money needed to not worry about the money spent by getting an iPhone 4S after an iPhone 4.
"And, by the way, few people would have a problem with inequality if the American Dream were still fully intact—if it were easy to work your way into that top 1%. But, unfortunately, social mobility in this country is also near an all-time low."
Also, Siri is awesome. It even told me how much wood a wood chuck can chuck, assuming said woodchuck could chuck wood. It actually had several different answers.
Please don't keep us waiting. How much would would a woodchuck chuck?
(I won't be getting my new iPhone until closer to Christmas as my present to myself, so I can't ask Siri myself).

Hoo boy... don't tell me you're with the "Occupado Wall Streeters", are you?
I wasn't born into a rich family, but I also know what I can and cannot buy. I still don't have an iPhone simply because I WANT it, but don't NEED it. Once people learn the difference, they get control over their personal finances.

I've got perfect control over my own personal finances, don't worry
