Apple has long term contracts with Samsung that have not concluded yet. Of course Apple is going to continue to use the capability they paid big $$ for up front when those contracts were set up.
Apple has also been quietly testing other suppliers such as TSMC who is also reported to be delivering pre-production A6 chips.
If anything that would indicate a move away from Samsung who up till now has been the sole supplier. And the latest conversations likely go along the line of ~~get your sister division to clean up its act, or we will reduce your division's business over the long term as the current guaranteed production contracts close out~~.
