    The general public doesn't name Apple's products, Apple does. They don't have focus groups and surveys to get customer opinions on the matter. Remember how people hated MobileMe and iCloud? How they hated MacBook, MacBook Pro and Mac Pro? How they hate the ubiquitous iTunes?

    I think what Apple is waiting for is large-scale production from any decent fab of the new Qualcomm MDM9615 chipset, which combines GSM, CDMA and 3GPP LTE on a single, low-power cellphone chipset. That way, Apple can keep the next iPhone decently sized while adding full LTE support for the Verizon network and the growing AT&T LTE implementation.
