I think Adam and Eve don't have a case, since they didn't start a computer or electronics company named Apple. Adam and Eve didn't register any trademark to the name, so they have no recourse. Seeing something is different than registering a trademark, patent or copyright. Plus, are you sure they actually called it an apple they saw it?
