If you meant the GS2 commercial...It wasn't really Apple-like, except for belonging to the same genre...
I don't know how people think Apple owns that style commercial as I remember first falling in love with those types of commercials when it came to Volkswagen...specifically when the New Beetle was released.
But I've yet to see a Galaxy Nexus commercial that looked like an Apple rip.
No, certainly. But they were the first to use them in presentations. And the same argument applies here: changing the color of the gradient while changing nothing else about it (direction, etc.) is just laughable.
I think the gradient beef is a nitpick...especially considering the other glaring instances of copying.
