For me, i would do this:

Cheap Rack Server: one with Darwin only, one with Mac OS X Server. With G4 startin at 400 Mhz .

Business Pizza G4: G4@700Mhz with an ATI Rage 8 MB, one PCI slot bundled with Office X, Filemaker Pro, Palm Desktop and a iTools Businness account for templates, AppleScript, etc.

Advertising: No Viruses, just the work done.

Gamer Pizza G4: G4@ 933 Mhz with an GF4ti one PCI slot bundled with some good games like AoE2, Giants, OttoMatic, Mike's Cards, Civ 3, Sims, Chess, Quake 3 & Diablo 2 for X,

and a free 1 month account to World of Warcraft (hopping)and a iTools Games account for multiplayers, tips, etc.

    Advertising: Console not admitted

All this stuff with no monitors...

If you want a AIO you've got the Luxo Lamp.

    And for the Pro:

Put a fast G4 or G5 asap with DDR, Rapid IO, Faster SuperDrive, GeForce 4 Ti, etc.

Some bundle for Publishing (Adobe), Web Design (Macromedia), Movies & DVD (Apple)...

Do you think i have a chance to grow the marketshare of Apple with that ?

    I would:

Month 1: COMPLETELY revamp the server line. I want rackmount I want them with the fastest everything and pullout the extra graphics if you have to. EVREY single one dual processor, and it's a discrace if I see any of them below 380MBs of RAM I don't care how much it costs! Oh, and one more thing... bundle Apple Remote Desktop base liscense (upgradeable) with the deal. I'd put in DDR RAM but like the towers would sell then? Leave the bottom model as a tower and call it the small business server.

Develop some kind of Apple Developer level that that 15 yo could become a part of... show the world that Apple cares about people, not legalities.

Month 2: Open more stores... The retail initiative is great and now that we've actually got iMacs to sell we can open them without going under. I want to see more presentations by people other than Apple. Let a real community develop around each store... give each one it's own webpage.

Month 3: Buy the rights to the information(not the whole division) to Motorola's PPC division and make the Alliance Apple=IBM (I believer that Apple contract with motorola runs out in Jino of this Year) Announce that IBM will be taking over all manufactuing and that both Apple and IBM will be on devellopment, and thiis time... it's open to whoever want's a piece...(Acer immediately joins).

Month 4: All product announcements made directly to press at the new Apple flagship store in the Mall of America.

All new pro desktops and Powerbooks: The towers now have 2 5 1/2 inch drives and one 3.5 inch. Speeds up to 1.4GHz and down to 1GHz for the low end. New motherboard... first with USB 2.0... first with firewire 2.0. DDR RAM, RapidIO, all that good stuff. TiBooks up to 866MHz with USB and Firewire updates. Engraving option like for the iPod.

Servers: speed bumps and motherboard revamps consistant with the Pro line.

Apple announces a new partnership with D-Link. D-Link starts offering drivers for more of it's products for macs. Wireless print servers (now compatable with airport!) and USB wireless adapter especially so that they can be utilized in pre-airport macs. This goes along with the D-Link Bluetooth USB connector.

Month 5: Macworld Expo NY... I put in the extra effort and get the Soho store open so that Phil Schiller can get visit the crowd via uplink from there and what's he demoing? Why it's Quicktime 6! And what's he being watched on at the convention? Why that's Quicktime 6 too because MPEG 4 is now free per use!

iMac: Speed bump to 1GHz, no USB 2.0 or next-Gen firewire yet, but there is DDR RAM! Base Model with 256MB RAM, to with 384.

iBook: Similar speed hikes to 800MHz and 14" monitors on all but low end. All models have 256MB RAM.

AND ONE MORE THING, I call it The college series: A middle of the line config of each the iMac and the iBook with one change: video-in. This is for the person who is short on space ie: the college student. And look just in time for fall!

iTV: BTO option on the Pro Tower line and essential part of the college series, you can now watch TV on your mac with the newest iApp. There's a carbus adapter for the TiBook available at the at your local Apple store.

With the new focus on education, Apple will actually train your teachers at the Apple stores!

Month 6: More Apple retail stores, more teacher training... life is good! Get those G4s yielding well for San Francisco... and release some Nothing Real software for the mac.

What?! you read this far?! (wow, I was bored) If you've got any comments by the time you get here, it's time to post them
