My wife just uploaded a bunch of pics. She got errors that she was out of space. She did have a lot of pics up so that may have been true. She deleted some, uploaded no problems.

I should mention I did initially have the error you mentioned but I opened the prefrences window, closed it again, tried again and it worked.

I've tried it with 2 different accounts (mine and my wife's) and neither works.

    Nevermind, it works now...odd.

The password parameters have changed somehow. It can only be 6-8 chars now.

I'm getting the same message about an incorrect password, and for the record, my password is within the 6-8 character parameter. They might be doing work on the other side of things -- disconnecting and reconnecting servers with accounts on them or something. This should be interesting....

I had this problem 3 days ago, so I'm not sure if it's just a new thing...

I had to log out and log back in a few times to get all my pics uploaded.

Can confirm... mine was working a while ago, now I'm getting the same message.

Definitely doing a rotating deployment... am curious how they've got us broken up, now that I'm thinking about it... but they're definitely doing something to the servers/authentication layers.

Mail still works, though - had to dig out my password for AI

I just went to the itools website and got a message saying that iTools is unavailable.

    <a href="http://itools.mac.com/unavailable/"; target="_blank">iTools go bye bye...

    Wonder what's going on??

Wow, if iTools is down, then .MAC is really coming. Is this time for a "woo hoo" or a "um, ok, so what?" ONLY TIME WILL TELL FOLKS!!!

    Update:

My iDisk works again. Obviously, they're gearing up for tomorrow so we're seeing intermittent outages of iTools and iDisks as a result.

Well, iTools were originally were for 9.1 and up. Anyone else thinking that they may change it to OS X and up? or maybe .mac for free for OS X users, or only available for OS X?

    Aaaah, probably not. *hoping*
