There's a three-word phrase used by many rigid, backward-thinking apparatchiks.
"Stay the course."
Those words have been uttered by many bureaucrats and politicians who didn't understand the present and were afraid of the future.
Maybe, but my point is that there is no value in criticism like this unless you have a better idea. What, exactly, do you think that RIM should do instead of staying the course?
I entirely share your expectations for RIM's future as it looks from here. But I am NOT sure there is a better course for them going forward.

"I can see by your outfit that you are a cowboy."
These words he did say as I boldly walked by.
"Come an' sit down beside me an' hear my sad story.
"I'm shot in the breast an' I know I must die."
"If I get an outfit, can I be a cowboy?
I want to be a cowboy -- and I really will try!
Then we'll all have outfits, and we'll all be cowboys...
An outfit of cowboys with cowboy outfits... Oh my!"
