I would like to see Apple consolidate all updates of their apps to the App Store update system regardless of whether the apps such as iLife were from an OS install or a purchase from the App Store.

Just installed the new iPhoto on the Mac and no sadly, no 'Journals' in Sharing unless I am missing it somehow. I was hoping for an even more flexible version on the Mac and it still supports Mobile Me in sharing (I suppose it has to till, MB closes down). I have created a few in iOS and assumed they would also show up in the Mac's new iPhoto ... but they don't.

My guess is this will all change with Mountain Lion and what we are hoping for will be there then and of course no MobileMe. Journals are a nice step for family pics in iOS but not any use for professionals that use Aperture and Mobile Me. If Apple totally drop any pro style image / slide show publishing to the cloud then it is yet another blow to Pro users in the Apple eco system I am sad to say.

I seriously hope Apple add a pro version to Journals, even if it is only available to Aperture ... that's assuming Aperture X doesn't come out and is really the next iPhoto .....

Just in case anyone was wondering what iBooks Author with iPad Retina Display is all about (and if you missed my earlier posts):

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you iBooks on iPad Retina. You will never look at a normal "computer screen" the same way. For the first time ever, digital books will be indistinguishable from printed material. I never thought I would live to see this day.

"No one can tell you what the Matrix is, you have to see it for yourself"

Accordingly, the SuperHD Retina iBook2 screenshots above can not be fully appreciated on regular monitors. But if you imagine those images in a 10" screen, then, you'll get a brief feel of what it is going to be like on the iPad 3. But in any case, seeing, feeling and touching "books" on an iPad 3 will be unprecedented. This is big. This is the next iGoldRush?.

I have seen Mac application and themes these really looking pretty or awesome. I like these themes. It's really wonderful to work with it.
